Chalet Style

Lifestyle, Women's Fashion

Max and I went for a quick getaway this past weekend to Blue Mountain and it was so cold but so beautiful. I’ve been living in these high-waisted jeans from Zara because they have just the right amount of stretch and the high waist hides my 8 week post partum belly flub quite nicely. We both love these sweaters and pick them up in vintage shops or flea markets whenever we see them. I’ve only ever found two¬†that I liked that were new in shop: one was from Roots and the other from Hudson’s Bay. Look for a heavy wool and go for the mens sizing for the oversized look that can fit over all the other layers needed for¬†winter. I’m also wearing my favourite new boots from Le Chateau. This Canadian shop has really upped their shoe game this year and they have so many nice, high quality options. These ones are super warm and the waterproof bottom part is made with recycled plastics. Love.

We brought baby Eames with us and walked around showing him the village which is so magical this time of year. Max and I also got to go night-skiing with some friends which was great after being pregnant for most of last season. I’m SO happy to be back on the hill this year and have my sweet baby out! Did you guys catch all of his cute chalet outfits on Instastories? He wore a lot of plaid ;)
