Today’s post is a little rant about my obsession with the Lilee box ( a lifestyle subscription box filled with goodies that gets delivered to your front door!)
I love a good mail day – my favourite magazine, a package from an online purchase, or a thank you note from a friend – something fun in the mail really brightens my day. The day the debut Lilee Box was delivered to my door was a GREAT day. I came home on the coldest, darkest day in January and there was this gorgeous box wrapped in a ribbon and sealed with a wax monogrammed seal. Eek! This was going to be fun. I tore into it and was blown away by all the goodies inside. The box was filled with full-sized beauty products, the prettiest little gold bar necklace, tea, and stationary. Everything was so carefully picked out and there were write-ups on each product to get to know the new brands being introduced. I think that’s what I enjoyed most about the Lilee Box – falling in love with new products that I probably wouldn’t have come across yet but that were so perfectly picked out for me. Two of my favourites in the debut box were a facial moisturizer from Pur-lisse (which retails for $55US dollars!) and this great nail polish that I had never heard of before called CULT. Oh, and have I mentioned my new friend Fred the Manatea yet? He came with my loose leaf Beauty Tea and chills out on the side of your tea cup holding the tea while it steeps! Love him :)
Having tried all the products now and seriously loving them all, I can’t wait to see what is in the next box – and speaking of the beautiful box itself, it is unbranded and made well so that you can use it again for whatever tickles your fancy. Well done Lilee. You’ve won me over in a big way.
