Tie Dye Season

Kid's Fashion, Lifestyle, Women's Fashion

Description

Warm weather to me screams tie dye season (and sangria!), so, I spent this holiday Monday with my good friend Jo from Simple Studs tie-dying everything white we could get our hands on. We did lots of clothes and some pillow cases too which turned out amaaaazing. To make stripes you just roll your article into a long tube and then put elastics around it as you would your hair. For thicker stripes use wider elastics and then just space out the stripes/elastics as much as you want down the tube. Let it dry a little in the sun so that the dye doesn’t run into the stripes when you cut the elastics after.

Here is a link to my post last summer on tie-dying using natural dyes and you can find more pictures there of the actual process. Have fun!
