Remember when we used to shy away from pairing black with other dark colours? Gone are the days. One of my favourite dresses right now is a dark navy blue dress with gorgeous black beading on the collar and it is unsuspectingly such a great colour combo. If you are still hesitant, try a lighter brown like I have on here. This is more of a honey chestnut colour so there is lots of contrast between the black and brown.
The leopard flats I’ve been treating as a neutral this year meaning I put them with absolutely anything and everything. Same goes for my leopard blazer that I have in heavy rotation these days. This cropped sweater and long shirt combo is actually just a sweater from J Crew with the layer built into it. Talk about easy. These are my kind of pieces. The leather pants are vegan from Aritzia and are the absolute most comfortable pair of pants I own. They have a really high waist which is great for cropped tops and sweaters but is also a bonus for everyday because the higher waist makes them that much more comfortable when you’re actually moving around and playing/carrying/chasing kids as in my case ;) Some people might think leather pants are a bit much for them but try them and you will see that they can just replace your favourite jeans in your everyday outfits. You can make them look edgy of course but they don’t have to be. The material makes them less casual than cotton leggings but they are just as comfortable. Such an easy way to dress up your everyday look.
