It is berry picking season! I am a city girl but there is nothing I love more than heading North on the weekends. My friends and I made a pit stop on the way up to a cottage recently to pick some berries (for sangria obviously). There were strawberries and raspberries galore but also daisies! Fields of daisies! We had clearly died and gone to Instagram heaven. We picked daisies for our hair, I got snagged on a raspberry bush and needed to be rescued; it was all good fun.
This cute little farm is called Strawberry Creek Farms and is located at 17471 Woodbine Avenue in Newmarket. Apart from the berry picking they also had delicious fruits and vegetables for sale inside their market. Yumm.
